Flower Anne's First Trip to Babyland General!!!

The original Babyland General was a lot cooler it was in a real medical center building or doctor's office so it looked more like a hospital and had more rooms set up like preemie unit and school classes in the center of the rooms was a larger room with the tree and cabbage patch. At the end was the adoption center or gift shop but there were little rooms to fill out your adoption paperwork-thay may have been where Flower Anne was born before they moved to the larger building

I remember in 84 (I think) when the premies came out, my dad paid an over the road trucker to bring me one from 2 states away for Christmas! People were paying crazy amount of money for them when they came out. My premies name was Jimmy.

Mom told me I was born in a Cabbage Patch. I kind of believe her... I was 9lbs 8oz when I was born. My mom was 4' 11 " tall. She must have been a butter ball. 😍😍

i had a kitty cabbage patch when I was a kid but after I got diagnosed with dysphagia my inlaws tossed all my things and I didnt get a chance to save my baby....I was feeling depressed but this made my day.Thank you Jen!! Also if anyone sees one on sale please let me know Im trying to find my plushies they tossed out :( he had striped body and hair had a white line in the middle with brown hair and a tail

Oh Jenn, your Flower Ann is a twin my Winnie! That’s the original yellow dress too isn’t it? I loved Babyland, I loved that when I went I immediately turned into a 7yr old girl and the place was full of other 40+ yr old women and we are all like little kids, it was the neatest! I got my grand daughter a baby cabbage patch while I was there and she was totally unimpressed because it didn’t “do anything” 🙄🤦‍♀️😂

What an accomplishment you've kept her & the orig dress all this time and she looks in great condition! that- thats not a 1985 cabbage doll thats the 20th anniversary one, the arms are modern and the pacifier has holes, original 80's dolls pacifiers were completely transparent and had no holes so idk what but that is not the original flower ann if she was bought in the 80's
