I had this song playing during a Lyft ride where I was 100% convinced the pax was going to kill me. He was geeked out of his mind, sweat-soaked in a hospital gown and a bunch of gauze taped over his inner elbow, wordless in the passenger seat. I'd been in dicier situations but never with such certain metaphysical panic. No proof, there was just a palpable vibe. After 10 minutes he came to and gasped "What song is this?" and all the tension melted off. Think he was just an addict escaping the hospital, but now it's seared into my memory and forever linked to this song.
