Roses do the worst in an arrangement with other flowers because of the bacteria build up in the water. I'm able to keep my cut roses for up to two weeks by keeping the roses by themselves and changing the water after every five days. The roses will continue to bloom and last a good two weeks if you give it food and keep them in a cold area.

Unless u get them from heb...i just bought a bunch of yellow roses....well.....hubby picked them up for me...and the entire heads fell off when i went to put them in a vase...boom...pettals....they must never clean their cans? I dont know...Its a small town heb..i go up the road and they have 100 times more flowers and better...indont know...small towns get the shaft all the time.
