In today's video I'm back with another market vlog! Join me whilst I harvest, arrange and bring some bouquets to our local village market. We're finally at a stage where I'm regularly harvesting dahlias, zinnias and strawflowers to put together our summer bouquets and I'm loving the variety! I chat through the entire process of how to harvest flowers and bring them to a market and include a breakdown for how we did at the end of the day and how much money we made. Hope you enjoy!

Hey there!
Welcome to my channel, The Nature Patch where I like to share all things gardening, cooking, environmental science and flower farming in my Australian bushland backyard in south coast NSW.
My name is Robyn, an environmental scientist, and flower farmer. I have recently completed my PhD in understanding how people's wellbeing and their connection to nature is impacted by land use change but now I'm taking a break from research to pursue a dream of owning a flower farm. I've always loved gardening and nature and lately have been interested in growing my own organic food!
On this channel you'll find videos relating to garden tours, 'how to' videos, composting, soil health and how to start a flower farm.
I try to upload twice a week and I hope you enjoy!!
🤎 Filmed and edited on Yuin country. I acknowledge and pay respects to Traditional Owners of the land past, present and emerging. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.

So glad you can enjoy all the colour while it’s winter where you are! One of my favourite things in winter is to watch all the gardens in the northern hemisphere to get inspired 🥰

Love your videos . I have enough land to start a little backyard flower farm near Brisbane with my daughter-in-law. We are very familiar with Markets so I have a bit of an in there. Have planted some Echinacea and find that they grow well, look lovely and keep well as I’ve cut flowers. We are wondering why you don’t seem to have any growing in your gardens.

That’s awesome! I think selling flowers at markets around Brisbane would do really well granted you’re not too close to the Rocklea markets. I’d love to plant some echinacea and started some seeds but none germinated :/ I think I’m going to have to find some as plants and get them in ☺️

You must be on the other side of the equator from me. How interesting to see you do everything much as the flower farmers in the US, only in January! I’m thinking of doing some selling this summer, to help pay for my seeds! My gardening is a hobby, but it’s becoming a big hobby.😊. Good video. I subscribed!

You do such a good job on take a job on your arrangements they're so pretty okay I'm the one with 30 gardens at memorial Park in New Kensington PA and I do a few arrangements but mostly it's for people just to walk through and and enjoy the flowers I've been doing 1820 years now so I enjoy it so talk to you later

Enjoyed your video! I'm in canberra and only have artificial turf at my rental so living vicariously through your beautiful flower farm💛 thanks for sharing the sales figures. Curious what the net profit was after labor and materials for the day?

Do you know who has the block with weeds? Maybe it’s an elderly person who can’t get down there that would appreciate some help clearing 😅

End of holidays people will be doing the big shopping for back to school elsewhere and the tourists won’t be buying a lot of food as they’re heading home
