About Me: Hi! My name is Crane. I grow cut flowers in my suburban cottage home garden in a naturalistic style in New Jersey Zone 7. I make garden bouquets and sell at the roadside stand in front of my house. I also grow all kinds of vegetables and, sometimes, cook. I appreciate how you tell us (including text) flower names, and explain to us in a show-and-tell format how you arrange flowers, and why (structure, cuteness, etc). I have bought specific flower seeds (& recorded for next year) because of what I've learned from your videos. My small back garden and cut flowers I'm bringing into my home are beautifying my life, and it is because of your videos. Truly. I watch a handful of gardening KZbinrs. You strike a good balance. You care about flower diversity and beauty, but you don't insist on perfectionism, a manicured look. You share your habitat with wildlife. I am a fan of your philosophy. Plus, along the way, you happen to have a content, grateful, sometimes delighted and cute, presence...which is fun and delightful for us viewers.

Your garden and property looks so picturesque Crane. And no one can make bouquet’s like you can. I live on an island in Western Canada. Last night in my garden club we had a famous gardener from our area who has gardened for 50 years and written many books. His name is Dez Kennedy and he is a beautiful story teller. He spoke for an hour and told many funny stories mocking how we dress, how we are always losing one glove or our tools. How for 30 years he could not grow rhubarb until he found a very old gardening book on the benefit of putting urine on the plant. I have been to his garden sanctuary3 times for the last 25 years and it was one of the most memorable gardens for me. I purchased his book Heart and Soil. I encourage you to look this Master Gardener up. To learn and mostly to laugh. Big Hug to you and Jason…..❤
