I’m so, so sorry for all of the loss you’ve had these last few weeks. I lost my own 12 year old Scottie named Dougal a few weeks ago, and I know how you feel. We love our fur babies so much and they leave a huge hole in our lives and hearts when they go.🐾💕 I was so happy to see that you’re back for a visit with us!🥰🥰 Sending you love and hugs from Indiana❤️❤️

Oh Sherry, don’t apologize for letting your feelings show. It’s cathartic and you need to allow yourself lots of time to grieve and work through your grief. As you know from many years of having pets, those tears will eventually turn to smiles when you think of them and it won’t be quite as painful. My husband and I have health issues and decided that at our advanced age we couldn’t properly take care of another dog as much as we’d love to. You’ll know if and when the time is right to allow another dog or cat into your lives when they find you. You are truly blessed to have such wonderful caring friends! Hugs!

I'm so sorry for the losses you and your family have experienced. Our pets are dear, cherished members of our family, and like so many here, we've sustained a loss too - just last week for us with our beloved kitty, Lizzie. So very much sympathy for your loss and many, many hopes for a peaceful heart as the pain is eventually tempered and eased by comforting and joyous memories of our pets and gratitude for what they brought daily to our lives. My favorite parts that stopped my in the middle of my stitches was your laughing and good giggles! Great to see you again. I'm so sorry about your sad news. To know the love of an animal is simply a powerful love you don't want to miss out on. Press forward. It'll be ok. I love filling my bird feeders too. My Westie is more of a bird dog than our Springer was. Anyway, sending love. ❤ Oh and thanks for the book recommendation. I have it on hold now.

So sorry to hear about the pets Sherry. It’s the worst thing to go through but you must try and think what a wonderful life they had when in your care. I hope in time you will feel like adopting another pet from a rescue shelter as there are so many out there that need our help. Always lovely to see your embroidery and your knitting- it really does help with our mental health to try and focus on some hand crafting! Take care x

We feel your pain Sherry, it is truly heartbreaking to lose a pet, we send all our love to you.
