YEEY I finally finished it \(*^ U ^*)/ I really enjoyed animating this cause I really loved the story of flowerfell
welp this is my first fanmade music video so pardon my mistakes and crappy drawings there HAHAHA I still have many things to improve.

for those of you who asked why toriel's design is still the same as in undertale, well the reason is, I made a mistake when I was making this animation because I first discovered flowerfell before underfell and by the time I learned that flowerfell's design is based on underfell, I was almost finished with this animation and I don't have much time to change it so I just leave it be. I'm really sorry for the confusions ( T T n TT )

A lot of people don't realize that video "How Shipping Destroyed an AU" Ignores and cherries picks certain information to further their anti-shipping agenda. The original Overgrowth story made by Leviticus (or whatever their user was) may have been ambiguous with the relationship, but Sanei (The OG Creator who shut it all down) literally made twins for the two. They had KIDS in another version of the AU where Frisk survives. They literally have names. Vivaldi and Verdana. Stop perpetuating a stupid lie that people made death threats about shipping in particular when there's no hard evidence for it and more evidence for it leaning more towards being a Frans AU. And it was people saying they knew the characters better than Sanei did, demanding they change things to fit how they knew it would be, but for all you know (since there was no specific elaboration from Sanei's friends what exactly they were demanding), they could've been demanding and threatening for the AU to be platonic and/or more of a paternal relationship. Stop blaming "pro-shippers" when the OG Creator was, INFACT, a pro-shipper themselves. Shipping did not destroy FlowerFell, and I'm sick of people saying it did. It was never strictly platonic, even if that was how you wanted to "see" it.

@@Fandom_Gremlin I wrote this a year ago and it was little after i had watched a video that explained to me that Frisk was a child and that the fans had bullied the creator off the internet for not allowing the frans but frisk is a child thing to exist. After reading an article it is safe to say I think when I wrote this I was getting confused with Leviticus (who I think made the story more platonic) and Sanei (the actual creator who was alright with frans as long as they were 18+) I am by no means an anti shipping person but back then when frisk was depicted to me as a child I obviously saw something wrong with the ship. I dont really like frans on a personal opinion in general because sometimes aging up a character is very creepy sometimes in my eyes however I understand and respect that other people have different opinions and likes and that something weird or wrong in my perspective is alright and good in theirs.

And that it seems you read my entire comment. I was honestly expecting some deflection but I was pleasantly surprised with a genuine and thoughtful reply. I can totally understand the idea of being weirded out by people aging up characters to ship them with another character, I can even relate to it in a sense. When I was in the fandom, I was never really against Frans, but I guess it was kind of because I never really saw Frisk's personality to be child-like (even if it was heavily implied in game), but also because it felt more like people using Frisk's "adult" image as more of a self insert so they didn't have to use OC's or reader/viewer inserts. Also probably liking Frisk's story and personality that they thought "Why make a whole new character for the exact same position that already belongs to Frisk in the story?" I think it would be different for many people who ship (or used to ship) Frans if Frisk's age and personality wasn't purposefully ambiguous so that way people COULD insert themselves. Which, also happens to include adults who played the game. Idk if this makes sense, and I hope it didn't trigger you or anything, just as someone who used to be an avid partaker in the fandom and didn't mind seeing the occasional Frans story or concept, I thought I could perhaps provide some sort of insight on why people even thought to ship them in the first place. Either way, I just wanted to apologize for any hostility that was in my previous comment. Even though I did direct it towards you, it was honestly more towards the creator of that video you're talking about, perpetuating that lie that Frisk isn't canonically 18+ in FlowerFell and that Sanei wasn't COMPLETELY okay with the idea of their AU going in that direction, even planning their comics to go in said direction. And I'm mad at the people blindly agreeing because they themselves don't agree with the ship and therefore are okay with not challenging and opposing the video by doing research to see if the opposite is true because that would make them uncomfortable about an AU they really liked (if Frans was actually canon). Not saying you did that, but the general consensus of people who did watch that video, did not try to fact check the person. I just... When people spread misinformation that causes hate towards a certain group of people (in this situation, many shippers still get hate, even if it's not about FlowerFell or even Undertale), it rubs me wrong and I can't help but comment on it, even if it was a year ago (I apologize about that, I really couldn't help myself). But people I've talked to have been cool about it, even if some of them were somewhat patronizing and pretended to know better, that the video was completely right without any misinterpretations or misinformation. Flowerfell was my all time favorite AU in my tween years. You captured the beautiful story perfectly! Even though the story is deleted I'm so happy we still have the audio book here on youtube as well as a few creators willing to put out their love of it be it art, animation or song. Well I understand the original creator was harassed, hence why this AU was abandoned, I have to say this: NOT ALL FRANS SHIPPERS are bad! Nor were they all to blame. People kicking down others for shipping these two should take a look at themselves before throwing out hate. For one, the relationship was left ambiguous, and frisk was OLDER upon reaching Sans in this AU. They were 18 and older. Yes, they are a child in the game, but in an Alternate reality- AU- they can be an adult. It would be different had sans met them as a kid, then it would have been grooming. Regardless of your ships, I ask that you don't put down anyone for shipping frans, or kick them down for aging Frisk up. Shipping didn't ruin this AU. Fandom did. Shipping is in a fandom, it isn't the fandom itself.

If this isn’t a ship thing I really like it 😊 I love the original Flowerfell story (that isn’t a frisk and sans ship). It’s so emotional and beautiful. “sometimes, kindness is enough.” This song and animation makes me feel a certain indescribable kind of sadness; Flowerfell Frisk was too sweet to die, much like the original story… Again, not sure if this is a ship or not, but it’s really disgusting how a lot of people turned it into that, to the point where I thought that was the entire point of the series. I quickly regained interest after realizing it wasn’t, however good Flowerfell content has vanished, with the occasional ship video made in disregard for the creator’s wishes. What a beautiful story! It’s a shame to see it be destroyed by the people who claimed to be fans. edit: When I first watched this video I felt really sick to my stomach- a nasty mix of nostalgia, sadness and sentiment 😂 but now I have trained my little heart to feel less horrible when I watch this sweet animation and listen to this heartbreaking song. I remember when I first watched this video I literally couldn’t bring myself to watch it again. I didn’t feel like crying, I just had this horrible feeling in my gut 😅 I am all good now though 😭

I can’t wrap my head around the idea of shipping certain characters or changing the beautiful narrative. I’m glad to see there are still some FlowerFell fans out there with respect for the original plot! Frisk and Sans had a wholesome, beautiful , PLATONIC relationship and people ruined it. I will never understand how fans could take Frisk, a little sweetheart, and ship them with a skeleton who is way older than them. And this AU, and specific AU got me into the Undertale fandom. It’s really sad. The creator tried to wipe Flowerfell off the face of the earth, due to the mistreatment and toxicity from the community. People were threatening them and being super obnoxious, all because they wanted the Sans and Frisk ship to be canon. The truth is, Flowerfell is not about Frisk and Sans being in love, but about how Frisk’s love spread through the underground and made its way into Sans’s heart (in a platonic way). Frisk continued to show love to everyone, despite it destroying them in the end.

flowerfell is the most sadness AU among the AU's in the universe.

For the people who need some explanation, Flowerfell is a Undertale au, aka Alternate Universe. In this au, it takes place in the world of underfell, where the violence in a character is switched, which is why Flowey is so nice. But every time Frisk dies and resets, a flower grows from her skin, this is caused by the flower patch that Frisk fell on in the beginning being toxic. Flowey joins Frisk after falling, as you can see in the video. Also, the relationship between Fell Sans and Frisk is more sincere (though I personally imagine Fell Sans trying to kill her in the beginning), and Sans companies Frisk throughout the underground. In this time, Frisk is confronted with more fights, and gradually the flowers on her body grow thick, til they're EVERYWHERE, including over her eyes. In the end, Frisk doesn't get to go to the surface, instead, she dies from the poison in the flowers, infront of Sans and Flowey, for good. Flowerfell is my favorite Undertale au, and I hope I cleared somethings up.

@@Toilaconnguoi-ez2uv It gets a little muddy. But as far as I can tell people started to get extremely toxic and mean towards the author. I am not aware of the details. I heard two versions of what happened: Either the AU was actually not supposed to be Frans and it was just a platonic friendship between Sans and Frisk but people kept shiping them and got mad at the author for not doing the same, thus the author got really uncomfortable and decided to cancel the AU and not make anymore art. Or the AU was actually Frans from the start but people kept harrassing the author since Frisk is technically a child (even though Frisk in Flowerfell was stated to be adult as far as I am aware). Either way, the community got extremely toxic and when the author decided to stop making more art because she got really uncomfortable the community became even angrier at her and kept sending her hateful messages to the point that she was forced to leave entirely. I am quite sure that she even made a video months later and at one point even started crying from all the hate she got. Thing is, you as the onlooker are NEVER, EVER entitled to more art. The people seemed to forget that it was the author's choice to make more art and expand the AU or not, it was the author's choice whether the AU was frans or not. Plus people also began stealing her ideas and proclaiming them as their own. Overall this beautiful and great AU was destroyed by a toxic community, lack of common fucking sense and thiefs seeking to parasite on the author's success. To this day, however Flowerfell still remains a favorite of mine, as it gave us this masterpiece of a song.

It's an AU because of the fact that there are different MAIN aspects of the story that influence this story to BE this story. And the main one is even in the name. Flowers. In Underfell, Frisk doesn't grow flowers every time they die. It's just Undertale, but mean. And Flowerfell is Underfell, but with flowers and Frisk dying in the end. But if Underfell is accepted as an AU for Undertale, than so should Flowerfell. It's the same as Swapfell. That's reversed Undertale reversed once more xD
