Weeds! Ughhh! If everything we planted grew as prolific as the weeds, we'd have all of our hopes and dreams! It's just not fair! LOL Well maybe one day we will live the dream. Until then we gotta just keep trying. The sign of a good Gardener is if they can be seen Gardening in their PJs! Yaas and maybe have dirt in their coffee! Peace

My grandma would think you are crazy for spreading those snapdragon seeds everywhere. She planted snapdragons next to her garage once a decade ago and she still has them volunteering every year

Gardening in your jammies… I love this as the majority of gardens do the same lol. Would love to see a video of you saving some stock seeds. They cost so much to buy.

Hey Nicole happy to see you! 😊Absolutely have planted in my jammies and then truly enjoyed a nice hot shower afterwards! 😄 With all the rain we’ve had this summer and fall I should have a million volunteer flowers next spring! From Calendula, Hollyhocks, celosia, Snaps and so many others! I was blessed to use my volunteers this year to fill in spots where my rows were not very full due to bad germination and hungry slugs/snails and earwigs! Hopefully I will have a lot to choose from next Spring!

I let my snow on the mountain euphorbia go to seed, then I shake it wherever I want it to grow next year! They pop up pretty reliably in the spring. I'm zone 4b too.

Hey Nicole, thank you for the video!! 🙂 Strawflowers…. I saved some seed from some of my strawflowers last year, NE Indiana 5b, and they came back true to color and many are over my head. They were a burgundy color. Those yellow ones would also look great hanging as dried flowers in the nursery! Just something else to do in your spare time!😉 Take care, Sandy

You know those will grow better , cause you planted in your pj's. I know it's a little weedy, but it's not bad at all considering all the other things you have going on! Trying to clean up here....first frost last night! I grew the Cabernet stock out in my market field, and loved it. No hoophouse here, but I did throw frost cloth over it a few times. Loved it! Will try and do more for market next yr. Love walking along with you!! learning alot.

Voles and mice LOOOOVVVEE ranunculus. I emptied my corms from pots earlier in the summer and left them in a cardboard tray to dry in the garage. A week later the tray was empty without a single spec of the corms left.

I would love to buy your yellow strawflower for drying if you didn’t cut them down yet. I didn’t plant enough yellow this year and don’t have enough for fry flower projects. I will buy any color besides white.

I thought I would try keeping my ranunculus corms in the ground over winter and just saw today that something had dug them up and chewed them to bits. We have squirrels and chipmunks. Sad

LOVE champion campanula! I tried some outside in MA, that I had started from seed in maybe September, and only got 1 to bloom the 1st year. Probably too small/immature when I planted them out last fall. Hoping the rest will bloom this coming spring. The 1 that did bloom has crazy long vase life, maybe 2 weeks?
