Hi again! Can I please ask what blue you’re using on the spikey flowers? I grow these from time to time and it’s just perfectly matched to these flowers, but none of my blues look like this at all. I like the M. Graham paints and have some Daniel Smith, but I don’t see anything like this on the color charts. I like to attract butterflies when I plant a garden, and I’d love to have this similar to this perfectly blue…blue to remind me of gardens past!

Hi Jack! I mainly use Horadam de Schmincke's French Ultramarine (Outremer francais) 493. But I always mix it with a bit of purple or green or different blue to get what I'm looking for. Your garden must be really beautiful :) All the best!

@@BobaJwatercolor now that you mention it, I DID see theirs 😍 I have a couple of theirs. I picked up the Naples yellow reddish to do a portrait of a friend’s baby. It’s on my to-do list. Hoping to get done before she graduates college. Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent! I’m retired so looking for a hobby, but was utterly disgusted by my first trying watercolor. I made the mistake of attempting art with student grade stuff and tossed out the idea completely. 12 years later and KZbin! I’m able to try it again with much better results. Thanks to folks like you. 💐

@@jackwyatt8849 Hello Jack, Thank you very much ✨ I'm very happy if I can help a bit with my videos. For the material, yes absolutely you need quality material to have good results with the bass material, it's a bit difficult. But it's really great that you're back to painting. That's wonderful! Let me know how you progress with the portrait! Have a nice day 😀 🎨
