For best results, use a clear vase, paint the inside of the vase by filling the bottom with the paint of your choice, swirl the paint until the interior is fully coated put the vase upside doto drip the excess. When it is dry, you can use the tranfers to decorate them. The vases painted like this are not waterproof.

Your vases are so beautiful and I've been inspired to do something of my own. I was given a large vase years ago, ( a Japanese styled painting on a black background) by my brother but told him I think it's about time, I updated it. I'm hoping that painting it with a white gloss paint would suffice. OR would it be better if I painted it with a paint made for glass. You're input would be so appreciated. Thanx.

Hi there, I've used both varieties of paint but found the glass paint a bit thin or should I say hard to get a good covering. The paint I usually reach for is chalk paint. Sticks to most surfaces. For a super quick fix, I still reach for a can of spray paint. Tip, several thin layers until you achieve an even coverage. Hope this helps? Warm regards Astar
