You should try using a sizzix big shot or big kick, I think they cut better the first time you run it through than the cuttlebug.

Hey Margaret, so sorry! I don't have a video of how I clustered them together....I did my best to lay them more on their side with the backs facing the middle of the trio of flowers....sometimes hot glue is great for something like that so that it bonds more quickly and the first flowers won't move while you're trying to add the rest. ~Emma Lou

Hi emma, I love your flower making tutorials. How do you get that glossy look? What paper is apt for flower making ? When I spray water on distress colored paper it sometimes bleeds. Pls. give your suggestions. TIA xx
@heartfeltcreations9 жыл бұрын
Hi, I think the look you are referring to is the stamp paints. Sometimes after I have colored the flowers, I will sponge stamp paint over the top and that will give you a shimmery light gloss look. I typically stamp on 60-80 lb. smooth cardstock. If you stamp or color with distress inks and spray water over it, it will bleed, since those inks are water based. I would lightly spray water on the back and see if that eliminates the bleeding. If not, I would stamp and color with an ink that doesn't bleed when water hits it. I usually use chalk and memento inks. ~Emma Lou

@heartfeltcreations10 жыл бұрын
Hello Rosangela, The machine I was using in this video is the Cuttlebug, so if you google that, there are many different places that carry and sell that machine. We do sell the Grand Calibur on our website and ship internationally. The Grand Calibur has larger plates and more pressure so you can send through more dies at one time. ~Emma Lou
