I have a 1997 Honda del Sol with a SOHC 1.6 liter engine and installed the Flowmaster Super 10 muffler 2.5" inlet and outlet. Since putting it on with a 2.25" cat back exhaust, I have gained a bit of top end power and more low end torque. The sound of the muffler makes my del Sol a very unique sounding Honda. It is a great product, Flowmaster. I am very satisfied with the muffler.

My super 40 is the best exhaust iv heard for silverados. Me and all the people i ask say they love how it sounds. Sounds great but yet not too loud. I set it up super ghetto a few years back and it came off in the middle of the road, a car hit it and put a big ass dent in it but aye still works lmao. I got it welded up now dont worry😂

Had the BB 50 dual inlet/single outlet on my 454 Suburban, 2.5" inlets off the headers and 3" single tailpipe. Sounded real nice and made a huge power difference over the stock dual's.

Yeah it really does you can actually feel the difference when you come off a line at first i thought it was going to be a dissapointment, but i was wrong big time and it wasn't that expensive you can get this set up, at least i did for less than $450.

Just got a Super 44 for my V6 1990 Toyota PickUp. Sounds low but soft yet not so refined. It's nice. I ended up swapping out my old Flowmaster muffler cause I put in a new set of headers. For some reason the older Flow sounded louder. I wonder if their is a specific reason for this.

super 40 series wit 3" twin tips on my armada offroad. It's just right. its the most diverse out of em all in my opinion. nice deep rumble but not over doing it either. this is the one that shouts when you punch it..

Best sound IMO is an SN95 4.6 with Original 40s and an off road X pipe. Super 44s are great too but they don't have as rich of a tone as the Originals.

I'm looking for some help... I'm wanting a muffler for my 2016 Dodge Challenger. It's got a 5.7 liter V8 but the muffler makes it sound like a standard V6 at best. If you're looking for a replacement muffler that will have a nice little rumble, but nothing too loud the Super HP2 would make a great option. If you're looking for a muffler with an aggressive exhaust note the Super 40 should provide just that. I have included a link below to our American Thunder Cat-back, part #817725. The American Thunder Cat-back System includes the Super 40 muffler so this clip should give you a good idea of the sound to expect. The FlowFx is also a great option, only slightly tamer than the Super 40 Series in its exhaust note. Due to the design the FlowFX option will have less interior resonance (drone) over the Super 40. I have the outlaws which I love the volume but I might switch to the Super 44’s because I still want the loudness but alittle less drone since I drive back n forth too work quite a distance

The Super 44 is a great muffler, one of our most popular. It will have slightly less volume than the Super 10 but it will be more refined. The Super 44 will have a deep bassy exhaust note, less "tinny" at WOT compared to the Super 10. The drone should be a little better as well but the Super 44 is still considered an aggressive option so some interior resonance should be expected. Have you tried adding in a resonator? A resonator is solely designed to help combat drone and can easily be added into most exhaust systems. Due to their aggressiveness, you should get some nice "snap, crackle and popping" from either of these Axle-back options. Some of the videos that you see here on KZbin with high-performance vehicles that have insanely loud crackling and popping usually have had the vehicle tuned to allow additional unburned fuel to make its way into the exhaust system where it detonates and creates awesome, end-of-the-world sounds and shoots bad-ass flames.
