I graduated at 19 what’s the issue
@BengalBuckeye2 ай бұрын
@@Dinetioneditz123Bassett turning 18 before his JR year starts meaning he's gonna be frickin 20 when he graduates is the issue. At this point it's become an epidemic and it's ridiculous how it's at it's all time worst when there's actually no need for it due to all the eligibility years you get now in the NCAA. Part of the reason the NCAA raised the eligibility rules up to 6 years of wrestling eligibility was to combat all these high schoolers and their parents holding them back 1-2 years in 7th or 8th grade. It's not like it was before they extended the eligibility when it was somewhat understandable to turn 20 and redshirt during your freshman year in college so you could wrestle in your perfect prime from the ages of 21-24 rather than 19-22. Now that the NCAA grants 6 years of eligibility with a redshirt there's no need to be frickin 20 before you even leave high school. Look at Mendez from Ohio State for example. Dudes already got an NCAA title, ranked #1 and he's literally the same age right now that Bassett will be when he gets a high school diploma 😂😂😂.
