I was just thinking after seeing this, why wouldn't you have the person that developed a completely different concept of quadcopter that basically changed everything, and who continues to innovate? Whomever is producing this doc, leaving Bob Roogi out is a huge miatake, and a complete over-sight. Just my own opinion!

@@Kabab i wouldn't disagree with that, but this hobby hasn't existed all that long either, so you look at rhe last 6 years and you look at the innovators. The toothpick was a huge innovation. Not to mention, but i will, your enthusiasm for all this with the frame designs, the motor development, the testing of every prop known to man! You would have been the first person i interviewed! Anyway, just my own thoughts, i won't stir this pot, i promise!

I don't know how many times when i mention to someone I have a drone they ask "You gonna fly it up to someone's window and peek in?". The general public don't understand the hobby. They think of it as a toy only or a tool to do something illegal.

Love from Aus. Keep fighting for this hobby, and teaching people what it is we actually do. I told one of my science teachers i race drones, and showed them some of my footage. They then showed their class, and someone asked ‘Why is it so low quality (i was flying analog at the time), you cant spy on anyone with that image!’. This was someone who had never seen FPV before, and thought that it was just for being creepy. The teacher then bought a kit to build with their class, and now my school has a drone racing club. It’s these kinds of experiences that show everyone how amazing our hobby is, and why needs to come together to protect it.

I was lucky enough to receive an invitation to a private screening of this movie in Atlanta. It was a great experience and film. Hopefully it gets picked up by a streaming service. It would definitely get more people into the hobby and give people a glimpse at what the hobby is about.

@@Mi78 they’re planning to show it at some film festivals so people from streaming services will see it or so they can be like “we won such and such award at such and such festival” when they talk to people from streaming services. Sorry I don’t know more. I’d say follow Joshua Bardwell he mentions the film occasionally. Whenever there’s a big update he’s sure to talk about it.

FPV pilot from Germany here. Maybe you could incorporate a section in the doc where you show that there are FPV pilots all around the world. Regulations are put in place not only in the USA! In the case of Germany i would suggest that you get in touch with the guys from the german FPV KZbin channel SPINFAST. It is a well known channel here and these guys are super nice! 🙂

The insane part about this is that in 5 years, we're going to see stuff that makes everything in this video seem "old school". It happens with snow, skate, surf... anything with advanced tricks. I think we're just scratching the surface of fpv and what these drones are capable of. Especially when you look at what was unbelievable a few years ago, new pilots are picking up in a matter of months.
