Your the first minecraft youtuber that makes me feel like your actually appealing to adults. All the minecraft youtubers you can tell they just have kids as their demographic so thats who they appeal to so it can be not as entertaining for an adult and makes me feel like I am to old to watch minecraft videos but when you make videos and talk about real life stuff like money or other life topics combined with your calm demeanour instead of over hyped yelling, makes me feel like I am actually valid watching this and not too old. Your the minecraft KZbinr for us old school adults who have been playing since this game came out 🥹❤️

Idk if I’m like just mature for a kid or if I just can’t be considered a kid anymore but I feel like he’s still got appeal to kids as well (I’m only 17 rn but I’ll be turning 18 in a month or so)

of course younger people could absolutely still enjoy this i would've enjoyed this type more when i was younger as well a lot of younger people arent into the type of minecraft youtubers that are out there. I totally think thats valid when I said kids i mean a lot more of like 10 and under kinda thing. Your totally valid for liking him at any age :)

Dude yes I was hoping you'd redo that video, I was so bummed when you got wrecked by the warden and you barely got to do half of the stuff. Also so real about getting burnt out with levelZ, ive been using it in my worlds and just got so tired of it. Great video man
@emilstvring7577Күн бұрын
I agree with the Level Z thing, I love the idea of making progression more involved and not just a 15 minute path from wood to diamon, but Level Z is such an extreme and bland way to do it I wish there was a mod like Level Z, but the progression is way faster, but make it less like a video game grind, maybe making it so that you gain mining XP from actually mining instead of just farming exp from quarts or mob farms, but give it a reasonable pase, so that you don't need 2 hours of playing just to gain iron and coal, but still can't just get diamonds immidately
@loganchase4077Күн бұрын
@ exactly it shouldn’t take 4+ hours just to get diamonds but then you still have 3 hearts and can’t even use enchantments

22:26 Personally I think you should keep doing the Creative Builds in your SMP server but you should start a survival series to go along with it. I love your survival videos. But you never really get into the endgame and more often than not they get cut short. And even when you do get into the endgame, there’s usually only a couple days left so you can’t really do any big projects. I’m not saying have it be like Hermitcraft or Crazycraft where it’s hundreds of episodes. But just like 5-10 episodes per “season” of you just slowly expanding out into a non-hardcore survival world. So you can really get into the endgame and start messing around with all the OP items. And hey, maybe even messing around with the create mod once you feel comfortable. And just do 1 episode of building in your SMP, and 1 episode of casual survival, alternating. So you never get bored with just building or just doing survival. Then if you ever get burnt out, you could do one of your Hardcore 117 day survival challenges with a twist. Like your zombie one, or the amplified world gen, or your frozen one. Just to help break up the monotony every now and then. That’s how I’d do it if I was in your position but that’s just me.

Growing up with divorced parents and moving constantly is so rough, I had the very same childhood. Even when I was in a school for a few years it always felt like I was waiting to move even if we had no plans to. In middle school I was finally in one place for almost 3 years which was longer than I have ever lived in one place and when my parents wanted to move after that I couldn't handle it. I feel you and I love your stuff even more since you're so comfortable talking about this kind of stuff. The relationship talk hit home I think that's really good stuff to be vocal about.

Not gonna lie, long time content to fall asleep is brilliant. If a person falls asleep they watch the whole video which boosts the video (or VOD) and maxes the ad revenue per view, because they watch all the ads in a 3hour video. In the best case KZbin starts another of your vids and you get like the whole ad revenue of another hour long video and so on and so on until they wake up or KZbin stops.

Flow a quick suggestion for the survival content on the smp is to make it a series but the difference is that each time you do something different. So you’re not starting over each vid but at the same time you’re not doing something that basically makes viewers have to watch previous vids for context. So it’ll be the same world, same gear, etc but doing something different. Like in each vid go explore and make another base in a different biome or a build in each town, etc

I'm in my mid 30s and just got into Minecraft. My kid sister has always played but i didn't really get into it. My daughter on the other hand, has ALWAYS asked me to play with her! I just felt like I wouldn't be able to help her, as I dont know anything about it. I started watching ACookieGod with her a while back and although I really enjoy his videos (and sometimes sleep to them) I just felt like I would be in over my head starting from 0 knowledge and experience. I got them Minecraft on the Switch for Xmas this year and they convinced me to make an account. I'm explaining all of this just to tell you thank you for making your content relaxing and digestible. Everything you've done in this video is not only quickly attainable but realistic for someone starting out. Thank you and happy holidays 💜

I love the idea of filming on the server, I do think it could cause some issues with your talking segments, I love that if feels like your having a genuine conversation and putting your genuine thoughts out, I would worry that people would be inclined to hang around more and not allow for the 1 on 1 viewer relationship, however, that’s pretty easy to fix, either way that’s my opinion I’ll watch regardless. I’m super excited with these longer videos! I jumped outta my seat when I saw this one was almost 4 hours !!

I was slime chunk seeking, then 2:24:00 of your video happened so I spent the last hour and a half listening, writing, and editing out all my own biases for this ramble. This below Ramble in a Nutshell: One of the kindest and sometimes hardest things we can do for ourselves as Adults is to ask ourselves: "Why do I behave the way that I do?" The only true answer comes from asking this in private. And answering in private. This is how we get a sense of ourselves, going from: "I can say and do whatever I want now" to "I take responsibility for what I say and do". How Adults start the journey to becoming Grown-Ups. Then communicate to figure out if you and your GF are still aligned. The Ramble: From 2:24:00 of your video. When you say Compromise I translate that to Making Plans for the Future. Commitment. Big scary word, man. Saying you want to please everybody... You can be the one to initiate change, or stay in place, what is your plan? Goals? Comfort zone? If you live in a city now, in 10 years do you want to live the rest of your life in the country? Vice versa? People pleasing can't lead relationships, because it is leading with emotion. Emotions change constantly. We get our plan in life by truly Knowing Ourselves. With the big change of location your girlfriend wants, how does she view such a move knowing how you think and feel about it? Why do you feel like this situation with your GF is similar to that of your childhood with both your parents? Liking different things is alright as it introduces variety. Too much of the same leads to eventual boredom, too different means leading completely separate lives. Either way, the balance between different people should still include both people's wants/desires/needs. If only one person is compromising, that is called sacrificing. Is someone calling what you want and feel, your plans for the future ridiculous? I couldn't tell for sure from what you said, but that can be dehumanizing. Guys get that a lot from women. Women get it from guys they like who don't like them back, but mainly from other women. What do YOU want for your future? Do you have a plan? Figure that out first man. Learn how to Know Yourself first. Then you can know where you stand with others as it makes it easier for them to work in your life. At the end of the day, you need to know you feel valued, appreciated and respected. If you have that, then compromises seem less daunting because you are working together for a future both are building. When you figure out the direction of your life that you want, communicate it in a way that could include her. Whatever the outcome, you will know. Don't know your GF's situation for what she wants to do with her life. A stay at home girlfriend is not a thing that has a future for either of you. If that is something she is comfortable with, that will be how it is going forward. What do you want from a partner? If you made it this far, I salute you Minecraft Philosopher. And I wish you the best, my dude.

Hey Flowsate! I love your videos and they are the only ones that keep me engaged for the whole video, I love your content and I can never wait for more videos! I just kinda wanted to give you some ways I think can help you and you girlfriend that can help you two decide if you want to move or stay as it seems to be a stressful topic for both of you or just for you. I personally haven't moved 10 times but I have moved 3-4 times and I might again. Some things you and your girlfriend can ask yourselves to find out if you think moving is a good idea are the first questions of: what do we want to oneday achieve in our relationship? (this can greatly affect your final decision, and if you already know the answer move to the next question) If we want kids, what would be best for them AND us? (consider things like if where you are now is a good place to have kids, and would it be beneficial for you two and for kids) and if you do or don't, consider things like what you would like to have nearby in your (hopefully) forever home? (like shops, public transport access, schools, or things like rural areas if you prefer a morecalm environment). once you figure these things out, it can be great to then consider things like budget and what state or country would be good for both of you (what I mean is in terms of weather and the atmosphere year round) From there you can start looking at places to be at, its best to have multiple options all within your budget. from there talking to others to see if they support that idea or if they think it could be beneficial for everyone. i hope you read this even if you have figured it all out or not. I do also fear moving as moving somewhere new is not only stressful but also can make you nervous and maybe feel uneasy. i have personally felt these things but with every move I ended up feeling like it was a good idea and makes me more confident by knowing that I have been to different places and seen and experienced many different things, allowing me to relate to others and making me less nervous each time. Personally I think go for it! its a new experience which can in many ways be beneficial and exciting. Although I don't know what it is like to have divorced parents or having moved many many times, I hope this can help you and your girlfriend. I am very nervous commenting this whole comment as I fear that it could be a very sensitive topic for you that you might not like talking about. I hope you read this and it helps!

The time right before i went on this one year exchange was some of the most consistently stressful and fearful times in my life. It sucks so much. But i am doing well now, and i look back and i see that the stress was unwarranted. Maybe that’s just cause i chose a good place, i don’t know. But i think its just moving to the other side of the uncertainty that healed me. Even if this place was horrible, at least it would be *known* to me and i could take actions about it. Not knowing is the worst. Wishing you the best!

Fell asleep before i could comment last night, but while i entirely get what you mean about episodes and series's and stuff, i do think it would be really cool to have some things that have a return or two, like id really love to see where you go with this idea and world because its so nice, but i imagine after another episode, max two at this length youd probably be done with it. Definitely think the long form works really nicely though, its been great to have on in the background while doing my essays and assignments, or while frantically trying to get gifts croched for chistmas lol. I also find it really hard to get good gifts, ill sometimes have a random stroke of inspiration or spot something and think "oh wow x person would love this", but generally it gets closer to the time and i panic because the people i really care about getting gifts for are really important to me, so i want the gifts to show that and nothings really good enough. Not sure if its a guy thing or not but good gifts for people i actually car about are so fucking h a r d. I do crochet and knit though so luckily even if its just a hat or a bookmark or something its generally appreciated. Made my siblings a bag with dinosaur spikes (7yo), one of those star blankets that have apparently been a trend for my 10 yo sister, bigger project but shes also my goddaughter so i usually get her an extra gift/something bigger because my other sibligs will be getting something or other from a godparent, next brother got some dice for dnd and a croched bag for them, hes 13 and super into the idea of playing but doesnt have anyone to play with, so im gonna set up a mini campain or two for him and my siblings to play so his first time playing isnt DMing for friends, and then finally got drumsticks, a crochet bag to hold them, and some ear protection because hes picking up drums, plus if nothing else hes nesrly 16 so gonna find himself in more places he'll need ear protection for lol. Still trying to work out wtf to get my dad, but ill probably make him something for his 50th which is in a month and a half, and my mams getting a little hairband thing which she might like. Still kind of stuck on what to get my partner though, hes stupidly good at picking up small things I'll like but he doesnt tend to show what he likes all that much. Hes always losing his hats though so i think im going to make him one, and then i want to get or make him something properly nice for his masters graduation next year. Been with him for 2.5 years and i still struggle to pick something that feels good enough of a gift for someone whos that important to me. Sorry for the long ramble, honestly i really enjoy how much your videos give me the chance to kind of stop and think about things. Youve quite interesting thoughts, and your opinions are slightly different to mine in a way that makes me consider a different perspective, but not in a way thats so different i cant get where youre coming from even if i dont agree which is really nice on an internet thats very polarised on most things :)

5:41 Minecraft fixed the bundles once they got officially released so they are much nicer in vanilla. You can use the scroll wheel to cycle through items in the bundle and they can be dyed. The 1.20 version is still good though, just not as easy to use. Personally, I'm a bundle fan, since I'm a wanderer when it comes to minecraft and I don't like leaving things behind.

Thanks for sharing. Instability is traumatic especially having to experience it at a very young age. Trauma can always stick with us and create barriers for us as adults, especially when we form relationships and have to learn compromise. It's important that you seek first some type of healing and that you are open with your partner regarding your trauma. But do not allow your trauma to prevent you from experiencing life. Think about the importance of creating stability especially if you are thinking of having children. You do not want your trauma to create a generational curse for them. I pray you find your way. You deserve a place you can finally cap home ❤

Don’t worry it’s not just you, I’m terrible at Christmas shopping. Especially as an adult/ for adults and how expensive things are it’s difficult to know or what to get for family or your partner. You aren’t alone 🥲 all that matters is the thought put into it, love the video definitely subscribing to support your channels growth🙏🏻 Have a great Christmas 🎄

I personally love your single survival videos. However, I do see the benefit of doing survival videos on the server. Maybe you could do some survival videos on the server and some survival videos on your own? That way you would still be able to get interaction on the server and get to play with mods on your own. Just a thought! Love your videos as always and keep up the hard work!
