What happened to Trance music?? It sounded so good back then in the early 90's - 00's. I miss this sound. Nowadays it's all gone Pete Tong lool don't get me wrong I love prog trance, uplifting vocal trance of today..and yes a bit of Bigroom house here and there..but it seems most EDM sounds too much alike. WHERE DID THE CREATIVITY GO?

+JoshylovesTrance A lot of this has to do with the gear people use nowadays. Back then it was all about real analog and digital synthetisers wich sounded much more warmer and full of life then virtual synths of today most younger producers are using because it's a lot cheaper. And today it's all about being cool and showing off and we can see this phenomena in mainstream culture and music. Back then it was all about emotions, energy, hypnotic and transcendental euphoric music. Now it's all about cool rhythm and super sound FX and super crazy sound design and music really lacks dynamic, energy, emotion compared to electronic music of the 80s and 90s.
