Great interview, lots of goodies in that big head he said he had, he mentioned Chet Herbert, that's Doug's dad, Chet invented the roller rocker/lifters and the zoomie headers, got to meet Doug after he built a big block chevy for me, thanks for the video.

one of the drivers for the freight train Roy Tiller "goober" is really good friends with my dad, we use to hang out at his machine shop all the time

I saw "The Freight Train" race and in the Pits. It was AWESOME. Orange County International Raceway..... O.C.I.R. - “The County“…."The Super Track" I helped build the track at only 13 years old in July 1967. I was at the track over 100 times for the next 18 years until "The Last Drag Race" Oct 6th 1983. I was 13 years old first time standing next to a Nitro Burning Top Fuel Dragster. The ground shook and the smell of Nitro was enough to choke you. I was immediately Injected, Infected, Addicted and Amazed with this sport. I have owned 10 drag race/street cars since then.
