Here, style makes fights. Floyd a defensive wizard and Marquez a tactical Counter puncher. The favour is with Floyd. Counter punchers rely on the offence of their opponent in order to make thier offence within a counter. But how can you do that when the opponent is extremely defensive? In order to create a opening, Marquez had no choice but to force offence in order to create a counter but Floyd was not having any of it. Floyd saw through this and didn't take Marquez bait, instead it was Marquez who fell into Floyd's fight. Marquez was falling for every of Floyd's faints to the point that Floyd felt comfortable initiating offence. After that Marquez game plan went out the window. Never the less both men are respectable boxers.

Mayweather did dirty on Marquez . Every Boxing fans knew it . Changing the weigh just before the weigh-in . Can't get dirtier than that but again he is the A side he can do that ( only cost a bit of money ) . Not that Marquez would of won but it would of been way more competitive than this . Imagine if other Boxing greats used as much leverage as Floyd did ( since becoming the A side by beating Oscar ) against their opponent ? Wouldn't be hard to be undefeated . Floyd pretty boy was for me was the best boxer of the generation , beat P4P best , fought all the time , no ducking , went for the kill , didn't have any advantage or leverage , didn't cherry pick , went up in weight , took risk and didn't care much about B.S. undefeated record or money . After Floyd beat Oscar he became Money Floyd and that's the beginning of the Money Circus .
