The Haneys never signed to him is where it started. Bill always talked about the sparing before the MaGregor fight how Dev got off on Mayweather. All the comparison of Dev and Floyd, and I feel Floyd talks like he wants the next great one "someone to pass him and do better than him" but anytime there is the potential of that there is some weird behavior that almost looks like he tries to diminish there shine (ie. Tank and Dev). But I feel like there is a sense of pride with Bill too. But then there has been subtle situations where it seemed like Mayweather was hating on Dev/Haneys. Telling Dev to be far to Shakur on undisputed shot, avoiding Dev and Tank fight, planning a fight on the same day as Dev and the Regis fight, telling Ryan not to fight Dev, and I think it was confirmed Mayweather was hating when he showed Ryan the highlight clip of tank and Dev and allowed him to leak it. It's about business, pride, and money that I can see over the years
