Floyd did say this Fight will be different. He purposely went into the fight knowing he was going to stand toe to toe and let Maidana beat on him. He could of Boxed the entire fight and racked up the points. Mayweather is getting older but he is so conditioned and skilled, he is hard to figure out. Next fight he may go back to pop shoting his opponent all night while avoiding Punches. Floyd made it a close Fight, not Maidana.

Maidana hits hard but i don't think he's that physically strong. Mayweather has fought a lot more physically strong guys then Maidana. Canelo is very strong and he just fought Canelo but Canelo didn't really use his size though that much but still.. Floyd Mayweather certainly has matured over the years. The Mayweather that talks all the trash is the Mayweather that's creating controversy as controversy creates cash. He doesn't fear Pac and Pac doesn't fear Mayweather, they both fear the possibility of losing the biggest fight in professional boxing/MMA/fighting history and forever remembered as the one who came in second best. Both fighters have too much pride to let that happen and if it does, they'll never be the same. Why all the games from both sides, who knows. Maybe they've already agreed that Pac will be Mayweather's 50th fight and both retire despite the outcome of the contest.
