Great video Ryan, just a heads up, the Blue Line tactical Store in Gatlinburg just closed for good. I spoke to the owner about a week ago. They wouldn't renew his lease, because they property owner plans on opening some type of Beer Garden (not sure what that is). For anyone looking the Thin Blue Line (they also had thin red and thin green line merchandise) will be re-opening... BUT in Florida. I'll let you know when I find out where if you're interested, since you travel that way occasionally.

Hi Ryan (and Brie, who I met on your Asheville videos), I'm really enjoying your walk-through videos with the detailed narration and exploration of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. I've been to Gatlinburg many times beginning with two trips with my mother in the early 60s (ages 6-8) after my folks split. In recent years I've been spending a week in G-burg almost every year. It's a complicated story and very much TMI but I'm overly cautious thanks to a very restrictive childhood being raised by my grandparents. Your videos will be very helpful in expanding my horizons in touring the area, including PF where I haven't spent much time. Thank you for that.
@RobertLeeLaPointe3 күн бұрын
Hello again. TMI part 2- Just FYI-you mention that Cherokee Grill is on your list. The Calhoun Village property and the three restaurants therein are owned by longtime Knoxville restaurateur Michael Chase (a Maryland native) and are components of the Cooper Cellar family of restaurants that began with the first Cooper Cellar on Cumberland Ave. in Knoxville '79. They include Chesapeake's (seafood) which opened on the other end of the Parkway just a few years ago, again Calhoun's and Smokey Mountain Brewery (a pub restaurant) also in Calhoun Village. all are very good. I'm sure you will like Cherokee Grill.

One last note: I will plan to make the detour going through Sevierville to check out Stone Cabin. That chocolate sandwich cookie has me salivating. My Mustang and I will be blasting onto I-40 east May 4.

Just curious why you rank Sam's Club last. In my experience, it is usually cheaper than Costco and has the scan and go so you don't even have to go through a checkout lane. I find Sam's Club rotisserie chicken moister with better flavor. Sam's club snack bar has more types of pizza and drinks for cheaper than Costco and their hotdog Combo is cheaper. I know everyone has their own taste so I was just curious. I've never been to BJs
