The parts where I captured audacity? Yeah I set the render to "render in the same format as source material" there which produced a lot of artifacts, unfortunately.

No need for a DAW with a zillion plugins to make good music, Audacity and Excel (!) are enough (and a tracker of course 😁)

This is true. But you'll still need the DAW to polish your music to professional standards once you created a track worth sharing ;)
