Thanks Glyn. Changing the engine from manual to electric was ok - I have a prop shaft designed for both engines so didn't need to change that. It took me pretty much a whole day though, but a lot of that was taken up with getting the new electrics sorted. I also changed the top and lower side wires on the target - takes under an hour all in. I put the glider up on its A frame and spread the wings out to change the wires - thought it would be easier that way to get at everything. Cheers, Steve

Hi John, what with weather and mechanical problems its been long overdue, but a flight in perfect conditions like this makes it all worthwhile. All sorted now with a brand new electric start engine and its running really well - hopefully all set up now for some problem free flying for a while! Cheers, Steve

thanks very much steve for sharing thus video i never used to consider myself a spiritual person but flying has taken me to new places and its a rare thing to be able to share that same spirituality with someone else as from you vid and the way you put it together you know exactly what im talking about ;-) fly safe and i will make a video one day of myself flying your vids among others where the inspiration to build my own harness.

lucasdansie Thanks for the comments. Great to hear the flying is going well and looking forward to seeing a vid. Flying days like the one on show here don't come along too often here in the UK with our weather as it is, but when they do come along its a real privilege to be up there in a powered hang glider enjoying it all - the view and sense of freedom are impossible to beat. :-)

ps (ran out of text!) This film is shot at newborough - the headland with the lighthouse is around mid-way along the beach and is around 7.5 miles from the top secret location that we fly from.... I would tell you where that is but Pete might turn up and kill you!! :-D
