Painting since early 70s a wee bit of silicone on the surface will make it run like it was on ball bearings.

Love your work. Big fan... I just finished my first personal restoration on a 21' Maxum. First one I did and im hooked. Next project is a Mako. Can you tell me what fiberglass bondo you are using. I see its red but cant find anything on the net that is like like that. It looks like it lays down real smooth.

I’ve been looking at this seahunt 235 versus sportsmen and both makes all new to me. Any suggestions on personal experience on either would sure be appreciated. Ive leaning toward seahunt because of its bulk but sportsman has some great deals. Thx guys.

I know almost nothing about spraying gel coat, I saw that you're using standard paint, but then I also so a can of gel coat converter? Is it a mix of acrylic paint and a converter?

So I'm just wondering what the actual labor costs are on these builds ? (Or even estimates) I have a feeling it is over half to 3/4 the total build price

Can someone tell me what’s the name of that thick red putty resin that you all use when glassing stuff in? Thanks,Dave

Wouldn't twin 150s be better incase the motor brakes down you will still have the other one working on the Hydra Sport

+Ocean Hunter The weight to power ratio of the 300, maintenance costs vs. twins, and cost of purchasing, all factored into the buying decision. This boat won't be making too many long distance runs, mostly staying within sight of land. With the reliability of today's engines - it's a tough choice. We do agree, however, that having a second engine on long runs is definitely a good thing!

300 is probably faster one less lower unit to push. going to the Bahamas I would have a kicker

why would you want to increase fuel consumption by adding a bracket to the boat?

bracket decreases fuel consumption

Lol never fails at the end of these videos with an initial cost of $200 dollars and $60,000 dollars of modifications brings the boat to $60,200 dollars you could of bought a brand new boat with warranty 🤣
