About source of “uptake” definition in your video Hi. Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge with us. I have a question about Input, uptake and intake. Where did you read that input is not processed yet, “a white snow”, uptake is when “hey, I can understand this”, “I can grab hold of what’s going on” and intake is acquired stuff ready use in real world. When I read about uptake definition on the Internet - I can read about uptake that it is just a response to teachers recast, it is not a SELF-correction like “I can…” “I noticed” but I’m making an error out loud (nothing noticed by my self ) and after that teacher gives me a recast (It is actually teacher is noticing and not me) and only after repeating a correction (uptake) I may notice something. I interested in terminology for the for these tree concepts. And if they are used as vocabulary knowledge scale (VKS) ? A VKS example A. I do not know this word B. I know this word a little C. I know this word quite well D. I know this word very well A second question. Witch vocabulary knowledge scale do you use for your self ? Do you have a video about VKS ?
