Very informative video. One thought I would like to add concerning your chateo, I believe that on top of not running light in your refugium, it was the vibrant that was helping kill it off and not the fluconazole.

great vid bro. very helpful. dealing with GHA. started vibrant 1.5 weeks ago. No change yet. have reeflux downstairs waiting. i pulled off fuge as well bc bottomed out nutrients. however since then nutrients have risen applied gfo to strip PO4. giving a week if the algae grows back or sps start pasteling from low nutrients im ginna give reeflux a try

Really appreciate this video! I’m literally just about to do fluconazole myself and I have Basically all the Algae problems that you described. One thing I noticed is that you have a ridiculous amount of flow in your tank, and I think that’s actually a really good thing. What program do you run your MP 40s or MP 60s? (Can’t tell for sure which one you have but it looks like a Vortech) Besides that I noticed you have some other wave makers in the back Dash what’s your strategy there? I think a lot of water flow is part of what makes your tank thrive

I’m dosing fluconazol and Vibrant when can I do a water change my water is smelling?

Did it have any longterm effects? I dosed it about 2-3 years ago, caught Covid, and shut down the tank so I never got to observe the tank longterm. However, within the first several weeks nothing blinked. Just wondering if it prevented your coralline algae from growing or any other issues with Acro’s growing slow or not encrusting well?

Thanks for this. Man, I’m now questioning if I dosed enough.. as it’s been 6days and my GHA hasn’t changed color yet (my GHA looks like Derbesia) Perhaps FluxRX works quicker on Bryopsis? Time will tell...but I’m just wondering if I should add a bit more or wait out the 14days per instructions.
