Fluctuating AC Voltage Output On My Felicity Solar Inverter

I'm seeing fluctuating output ac voltage from my Felicity Solar 5kva 48v inverter display screen and, the AC voltmeter which I installed inside the house is reading variable voltages.
What could be the problem?

It could be a voltage drop due to resistance on the cable. You can experiment with generator and utility to isolate the issue.

Voltage drop normally occur in the wires and read at the load point.. for example, the inverter could display 220V and you might get a reading of 215V inside your house.. that is voltage drop. In this case, the fluctuating voltage is in the inverter.

Disconnect load. Switch off the inverter for some hours then put it back on. Lemme know how it goes

Did you find the problem? Did you check the cabling between the inverter and the battery?

Cabling between inverter and batteries is perfect. However, I noticed voltage drop across sockets in the house due to the internal resistance of cables used for the house wiring.

I guess your wires are a problem they can not handle the current in the wires that's why it stops down the voltage to symbolise a problem other wise the inverter is fine

Hello. IM using felicity inverter 5kw It's normal that my inverter consume 1.7amp from utility? We are talking about power supply inverter consumption only, because battery charging option is on solar panels only, and the ac output breaker is turned off...

Trying to understand your question. Do you mean your inverter consumes continuous 1.7amps from utility when idle and running? OR Are you saying your inverter charges your battery with 1.7amps only when it is using utility power for charging?

An AC battery charger which was used inside the house to charge some 100ah DC batteries seems to be the cause. As soon as I disconnected the AC charger, the fluctuations reduced by 95%

Basics!!!! This fluctuating voltage is occurring at the source (in the inverter) so cabling guage does not apply here or are you suggesting we dismantle the inverter and recable all the internal components?
