Japanese engineering in the house! I worked for a large Japanese manufacturer for 5 years- they are masters in engineering and give the Germans and USA a run for their money!

So why in hells name do they make so many different modifications every single year on motorbikes that have no benefits other than force you to keep buying a new one instead of repairing it. Absolutely ridiculous

So refreshing to see a high capacity drone helicopter built with ICE by Kawasaki. I had no idea what is the H2R until I looked it up. I am an ex-rider for decades.

the range on ev powered flight ✈️ under loads significantly reduces flight time. Look at the Ford’s failed lightning. Fully optioned out pulling a bumper pull camper matching the trucks ability got only 80 miles. Not very practical when there are no charging stations near by. Ford should have included a small v-8 as means to charge the battery and continue to run the electric motor. let’s say 50 gallon fuel tank. Or big propane tank filled at any filler spot.

@toyamanoryoji
@toyamanoryoji Күн бұрын

because i’m glad it’s not battery powered. Range/lift/cargo. isn’t ready for prime time. Ev stuff catches fire too easily. It would not be suitable for a beached ship ferrying supplies. salt water intrusion same with vehicles is equivalent to driving a toaster through a car wash.

Any aircraft that requires a set of dedicated lift engines during horizontal flight to provide lift, is a failed concept! The only viable concept is that craft that uses it lift engines for forward flight! Its not rocket science, you just need a craft with adequate wings to lift a decent payload, and lift/ forward propulsion engines, that some how can transition. The best concept so far, which means it has the chance of being the best craft, when finally realised, is the craft with wings that fold with the engines, and thus can take off vertically, then fly horizontally using it's wings, and then land vertically as the wings fold. The Pterodynamics XP-4 , is the best concept out there, and will be the most successful, as it doesn't carry dead weight vertical lift engines. It truly is, both an airplane and helicopter all rolled into one!
