There is virtually NO content in this entire video about "US Testing its Brand New $4 Billion Advanced Attack Submarine" The last half is about aircraft carriers - there is more discussion about aircraft carriers than there is about testing new attack subs. And, the first half is mostly about submarine history, etc. There is only about a minute or so of "attack sub testing" at around 7 minutes into the video - but no detail to speak of and just mentioning that testing is done.

Facing China, the US has to return to WW2 numerical superiority game again, like the Liberty or Victoria class of ship being launched every 24 hour ..😊😊
@krashd
@krashd 24 күн бұрын
Not a chance, in the 1940's the US was the world's industrial giant, today it's China, if the US could make 1 ship every 24hrs China would be making six every 24hrs, the nation is one enormous factory. China has over 20 shipyards and of the three largest shipyards each one of those three has more shipbuilding capacity than the entirety of the US. The best way to face China is to work with them, because should there ever be a third world war then the winning side will be the one that has China, just as the winning side in WW2 was always going to be whichever side had the USA.

USA needs to build 100 new attack and Boomer submarines ASAP ! Because all surface warships including aircraft carriers are obsolete now because of hypersonic anti ship missiles .

Lmfao who's "hypersonic" weapons should we be worried about? Russia's? That's a absolute joke bc Russia's military is a absolute joke and lie about everything.. China? Well being the fact that they have copied a lot of rushes military technology and tried to copy the F-22 and f-35 by stealing some of the plans they have done a piss poor job at it.. have we even seen China test their hypersonic missile yet? Or are we just taking their word for it? Bc they like Russia lie about everything.. and what you think America has stopped developing Defensive or offensive weapons? I would guarantee that we have quite a few weapons that are top secret and have not been disclosed yet that would make Russia and China's hypersonic missiles look like bottle rockets

The U.S. Military has been playing with Hypersonic missiles for a very long time and I’m pretty sure during that time they’ve designed built and implemented defense systems more than capable of taking care of Hypersonic missiles. They hadn’t fully implemented Hypersonic missiles in active service during that due to the cost per missile. They already had more than enough capability to get any job done.

@@P-J-W-777 So you’re in denial that all USA aircraft carriers will be sunk within 48 hours of war against Russia and China no matter where they are .. Parked at a USA naval base or on the high seas hypersonic missiles will take out surface warships .. A Russian Submarine will pop up near the surface 500 miles from San Diego and fire 2 or three hypersonic missiles and there is no defense for them .. But if you’re delusional and think that the USA is the only Superpower they won’t be within 48 hours of war against Russia and China when ever USA aircraft carrier is sunk … Because the USA can’t win against Russia and China in a conventional war the USA will have to use the MAD option against them and become EQUAL LOSERS to them … Build more submarines !! Hitler and Germany had over 1000 submarines during WW2 without that much of a surface warship fleet and look what Germany did when it comes to sinking ships during WW2 .

Attack Submarine doesn't sound right. A submarine is very vulnerable, with steath being its biggest defense. Submarine attack be : surface, shoot, submerge, and scoot .
@GeraldH-ln4dv
@GeraldH-ln4dv Ай бұрын
No. An attack submarine carries torpedoes and launch tubes for Tomahawk cruise missiles. It is meant to be used against enemy submarines and surface ships. They don't have to surface to fire either, although they do have to come to a shallow depth to launch the cruise missiles. Fast attack submarines also protect US surface fleets. There are 1 or more fast attack submarines with every carrier task force to hunt enemy submarines in case of war which might seek to attack the task force.

Attack submarine is just to differentiate them from ballistic submarines, the two dominant types of subs - you have the smaller attack subs designed to find ballistic subs and then you have the ballistic subs designed to start, or finish, WW3. Attack subs can be called Fast Attack (US), Attack (UK), Hunter Killer (France, I think) or any number of desgnations concerning attacking, hunting or killing. Ballistic subs are traditionally known - in the west at least - as Boomers (US) or Bombers (UK).
@GeraldH-ln4dv
@GeraldH-ln4dv 24 күн бұрын
@@krashd There is a third group now, along with the SSNs (fast attack), SSBNs (ballistic missile) subs. The US has been converting some SSBNs to carry cruise missiles, designated as SSGNs. The entire Ohio class group of SSBNs is being converted. So far 4 have been converted to carry 154 TLAMs,Tomahawk cruise missiles plus onboard facilities for special operations such as delivering special forces to conflicts covertly. In 2031, the first of the new Columbia class SSGNs, built from the start as this type. Technically, there is also a 4th type, which is just one sub, the USS Jimmy Carter. Originally one of the Seawolf class fast attacks subs, it was retrofitted with an extended section added midships with remotely operated vehicle bays, diver facilities, and configurable command and control and cargo areas for specific missions. There are likely other modifications as well which are still top secret. These functions will all be taken over by the new Columbia class when they are commissioned.
