Hope to see this in the regular maker portal vs having to do a work around. I think this is just a simple oversight. Nice work and thank you for sharing I like this one way better!!!

Unfortunately, as of today, Microsoft released these controls in Dataverse Teams and as an experimental feature in the Component library as I have explained in the video. I am sure it will be available to the regular maker portal very sure.

This was really great, Krishna. I’d not realized you could access the Fluent UI controls from a component library. The thing that can be difficult in my opinion is matching the styling of Fluent UI controls with the classic controls. The best approach may be to go all-in on the new ones, I suppose.

Hi Krishna! Great vid! I don't think the Reset property is in the Fluent control? This might be an important feature if a user would cancel edits for example and the control needs to go back to its default value.
@krishnavandanapu-mvp93022 жыл бұрын
Agreed but MS still need to implement it
@christyokane65272 жыл бұрын
You can reset the control by using Reset(*fluentComponentName*) on a button click, page navigation, etc. Does this work for you?
@emmanuelmaceda24752 жыл бұрын
Hi @@christyokane6527 , it would work if the control is not inside a form. I was referring for controls inside a Form control where if the user canceled the edit, there was no Reset property in the fluent control unlike in the other native controls (like Text Input, Combo Box and Drop Down) for example. It can work in a form but you'd have to put your button inside the data card as well?

Hope we can apply theme in general to imported components, currently they inherit msteams branding
@krishnavandanapu-mvp93022 жыл бұрын
Yes you can use them in regular canvas app also!

It'd be killer if you could do this same workup on the new combo box. I'm driving myself nuts trying to get it to produce a people picker.

Hi Krishna, many of us have been waiting for an improved data picker. Thank you. The modern button on the other hand does not allows us to adjust each corner radius individually, which I have used on several occassions.

Hi Krishna, Informative video. But I have a question, there is an issue with resizing these components. The classic components are responsive to the screen size while these controls are always fixed! Do we have a solution for this?

I'm also searching a solution for the date format to be in UK. Please let me know if you find any answer.

Creator kit has both components and PCF controls if the calendar you are using is a PCF you need to make changes in PCF to support your needs. Hope that answers your question
