You and I have the same type of hair. How do you avoid frizz?

Hi Joy! You know, I think my hair really likes gooey type products and lotion-ey products. I know that sounds odd but that’s the best way I can describe it. I always make sure my hair is very wet when I do flat twists. I get much smoother results than when my hair is just damp. I hope this is helpful. This is exactly why I’m doing a mini series on product combos that work really well together. Since your hair is similar to mine, maybe the same products would give you great results as well.

Hi, I noticed you didn't add any product near your roots. Did you add leave-in conditioner beforehand, if so which brand? Do your roots get dry as a result?

Hi! Yes, I used the Texture ID Curl Enhancing Primer as a leave-in. My scalp is sensitive to certain products so I go very light near my roots.
