My grandma did something like that, not to mess with me, she just had her way of waking me up, one time I woke up freaking out, dressed as fast as I could, and bolted out the door, I'm talking jumping down clear of the steps that lead from the house to street level, and hit the ground running. After a minute, something feels off, and I slow down yo a stop. I left with my slippers on. I go back home to change into my shoes, and having somewhat calmed down by then, I see that not only was I not late, but even an hour early.
