Basically what happens is your body is at absolute rest and your logical part of brain is idle and hence not much computation is happening. Our Brain is developed in such a way that it keeps processing information which have gathered recently or any recent or past events which we haven't got closure or left incomplete. This oscillation between past and future is nothing but a restless mind. Thinking is not a bad thing but a brilliant tool if its used in organised way. Dwelling on imaginary or fictional events is waste of energy and results into sleepless night. Thinking is a tool use it wisely. 😊✌🏻

It’s 23:00 here 🇬🇧 and I have just returned from a wonderful fruitful evening with m8s. My thoughts now r how the hell am I going to sleep when I’m so alert? I know I will retire to my bed, and allow this set to wash over me. I will not allow tomorrow’s work load consume my thoughts rather than this set and hopefully fall into a deep Slumber.
