Thank you for taking the time to make this video! My fill valve has started sticking recently and the float will not raise up to stop the flow when it is full (so I end up w/ a bunch of saltwater all over my yard). I have replaced these in toilets before but have always had access to underneath the toiled tank. I was puzzled how I was going to unscrew the valve in such a small space.

The over flow pipe I been trying to see how that works. I have the same style and I don’t see it working with the rain weather

Where does the overflow drain to?

The overflow is ran out of the pool to a drain location. In my case it was ran to a lower spot on my property since I don't have city septic where I live.

That float is for a toilet not a pool

It's made by fluidmaster and is a similar part to what's in pool supply catalogs for levelers in my configuration. Here's an example. www.poolsupplyworld.com/Letro-Auto-Fill-T40FW-with-Fluidmaster-Valve-White/T40FW.htm Obviously there are different configurations for different pools.
