Having very articulate and intelligent presenters makes all the difference.

Simon, you have such a great way of explaining the details..and I'm learning those small nuances are everything. And Linnea, you're so good at simplifying.. basically summarizing Simon's points and reinforcing by showing how it's done. Seriously, you two work together so well.. Best mtb skills coaching on the interwebs!! Keep em coming.

I agree, I’ve got an “mtb skills” playlist in my KZbin and a lot of them are from this channel

As always, superb explanation of the why and where, and when. Your channel is without a doubt the best on YT. To quote a famous guy "If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough." Your series goes into the nuances of all aspects of MTB with ease of understanding. Keep up the good work.

Yep brilliant ..... after getting the footwork theory in my head from your online school, I've been practicing this a lot. It took me a long time to realise why I felt 'uncomfortable' and awkward with it. I was overdoing the footwork and here we have a tutorial on exactly that !! TBH, it really does take some practice to get footwork to the point it's instinctive. You get to a point where you can almost 'feel' how far to go with bike lean, hip steer and footwork
@Fluidride Жыл бұрын
Yes, it takes a lot of time and practice for most of us to then be able to use our footwork instinctively. Always a work in progress!

You his ROCK!!! 1 request- can you read the words your posting on the video? When I’m listening, but not able to watch, it’s very disturbing to know you’re dropping BIG knowledge bombs in those music filled gaps where you’re pausing and showing something important. I’ve learned and my riding so much on the last few weeks alone thanks to you two!! (And your whole team!!) 🙏👍🏼🙏

About off camber turns: do you put your outside foot down and back and so alternate your front foot depends if it turns right or left?
@Paul-oe9sy Жыл бұрын
i think level feet almost all the time. level feet doing jumps, approaching a drop, bunny hopping, pumping rollers and corners too. one foot down if the terrain is smooth and you want to rest or get a bit lower like in a long smooth corner.
@Fluidride Жыл бұрын
Yeah, for sure in all those situations. Only non-level feet in a lot of types of turns.
