I love mine. Logging is a really valuable feature. I used mine to log my new refrigerators temperature duty cycle. I also used my Flir IR camera. Turns out the compressor was weak and the seals were bad. I used it to prove to Lowes it was a bad unit. They replaced the fridge with a new and better more expensive unit from a different manufacturer for no additional charge to me for my trouble. It paid for itself in that situation alone.

I has auto-hold too. A really cool feature for those of us that only have 2 hands.

I picked one of these up the other day and I'm impressed! The only issue I'm having is I can't seem to be able to delete recordings from the meter interface once I've saved them. Is this a ploy to make people buy the IR interface once your memory is full? Or am I missing something. I see not Delete soft key for the recordings. Would appreciate assistance!

Hell Nick, thanks for your interesting video. I just read the specs for FLUKE 289 and there is says 0,05% for ohms. You write in your video 0,5% for ohms. Has there been launched a revisionized version with 0,05% now?

+westpaddy76 I'm thinking it was a misprint - I looked up the specs on the 187, 189, 287 and 289... they were all 0.05% for resistance.

great video thanks. I'm only an amateur but something like this would be great with the data logging functions for car sensor diagnosis. Cheers thx
