There's not many better feelings in gaming than hitting a predicted rocket in quake...i don't get why more people don't play quake

Bc the servers are whacked out and the PC Requirements are too high. This game should have been able to run 240hz+ on average hardware, but you couldn't even run Ultra Textures on an 8GB card. Or the game lags out in specific maps bc they never really figured out the shadows or lighting effects to run efficiently on mainstream HW. It's a great game, but they've had TOO much time to salvage any meaningful player base. Dudes would rather play QL instead. Still, QC is an amazing FPS. It's hella fun.

@4M4 I have ryzen 5 and 1079 and it runs fine. And I'm not sure bout internationally but I'm in near atl Georgia and servers are just fine for me.

@@niksterfer6sir I know that those specs are considered low for PCMR Nubs, but its way overpowered for a F2P FPS. I bet your PC doesn't get 240 FPS in all the maps. Maybe in some it might, but this game should get 240fps with 900/300 series GPUs at all times, with all the maps. The game doesn't have fancy tech or crazy eye candy. QC should prioritize performance over everything. Sadly, devs went a completely different route and even people with ridiculous setups are still having performance issues. Either way, I still play QC because its hella fun, despite its bloated game engine.

@@niksterfer6sir Btw, ever play World War Z? Its a zombie horde fps. That game and QC were developed by Saber. They both look and perform the same. That game runs ok for the type of game it is. QC on the other hand should have AT LEAST gotten id Tech 6 like DOOM 2016, but again, devs went a different direction.

@4M4 um I don't know how you got that from my comment but. I only have ryzen 5 and 1070ti and I get 180 frames consistently but my monitor is only 144hz anyway so that's my cap anyway. I run at medium graphics and the game runs just fine. I also have decent ping always around 20.

I don't know if anyone out there agree but, this inverted notion of a flicker shoot its so weird to me, maybe because I used to watch so many great Q3 Videos back there like Annihilation. So, for that reason, I really don't think that point your rail gun to a foe shoot and then move the mouse faster to another place isn't a flick shoot and a correctly one would be looking to any place but the foe, move your mouse faster to his point, shoot, hit and then get back to original position. Thats why was always so hard to do it. Now about this vid, its awesome. Editing and everything else.
