This is actually the sickest thing how you are kinda helping people looking for a place to start by doing this good job

Flume is the most underrated producers of all time. Nobody can compose music like he does and incorporate essentially non-musical sounds and make amazing songs with them. You'd be listening to one of his songs and hear a random sound that would be abrupt to the point where it sort of startles you, but in a good way because he placed it in a perfect part of the song. I forget what song it was but he put a horse neighing in it and it was faint but somehow it worked perfectly there. He is my all time favorite producer and composer. Unmatched!!!

You should listen to What So Not, him and Flume used to work together and he does very interesting things as well

"You hear it on the radio and you see it as this linear thing, but then you get inside it and you see there's all these different parts..." - To be honest, that was what drew me to Flume's music from the very first play. The textures, the layers of sound and just that lush, slick production. Well done!

Where can I find the producer disc ? Or are all the videos on youtube ? I know he did some free tutorials for liveschool, but once I get the password, the stupid liveschool website won't let me login :-( So hard to actually find the full tutorials !!

I got the producer disc from purchasing the hard copy of the 'Flume - Deluxe Edition'
@juandenz20088 жыл бұрын
Ryan Williams Do you think the producer disc is worth getting ? Or is it better to spend the money on some other tutorial ? Thanks.
@ryanwilliams18948 жыл бұрын
+juandenz2008 Tough choice, I'd say it mainly depends on your existing knowledge of abeleton and what you want from the tutorials. The producer disk only provides basic tutorials and sort of summaries of the abeleton software, such as the different views, what a MIDI is, how it works etc. and I believe there is only 6 tutorial videos. I personally purchased 'Flume Deluxe Edition' not just for the tutorials but for the music and the Live sets, that allows you to play around with Flume's tracks; Holdin on, Sleepless and On Top, and for the fact it helps Harley financially as he is such an inspiration to me. Hopefully this helps and good luck with your music producing :)
