"What makes you think that?" I ask. *listens to what they say* (Looking for information about if they have actually tried it because you "can't judge a book by its cover." If they don't understand that saying then explain it in a way that they themselves can understand.) *when they are hopefully more open to the idea of trying it.* "I can take you all with me and we can bring the bird with us to try it." (Also, does the kind of creature live in the caves? If so, then I assume they don't like heat very much. Ice cream is a great sweet treat to keep cold in warm/hot weather so if they do like the cold/low heat then use this information to get them on our side.) (They don't like other frozen treats. Why when they literally live in the cold. Math isn't mathing which is the whole point of asking questions in the first place.)
