The days of the desperate smokers was crazy. I remember giving a shopping list for a smoker to steal for us in Jr high. We would pool our money to get hats, magazines, or whatever we wanted, it was a daily mission for money for a beam to the baseheads around my way. We had one dude that would literally show up with a scribble pad and a shopping cart. 😂 Its hard explaing the dysfunction of that era to kids nowadays.
