bjorks latest album “utopia” pretty much has flutes in almost every song, most noticeably in the song “tabula rasa”, you should definitely check it out in your own time :)

One the debut album this song was played by saxophones (quite similar if not the same way arranged) As a sax player, I have to admit, those flutes are even more adorable.

Beside the flutes, Bjork is worth spend time exploring her discography. She is an amazing artist, she is unique, she is a genre by herself. If you have time, among the others, check her album "Vespertine": it is pure beauty.

I am a huge fan of Bjork, and if I remember correctly this was one of my suggestions, I felt you would appreciate it 😉 ... with so many flutes I couldn't go wrong 😂 Great reaction, thank you! 😊

"Utopia" had an edition that came with a box set of bird calls of all things, and some of the more... discordant and weird sounds are either just bird samples, or apparently her using a flute to mimic Brazillian birds as a tribute to the person she worked with on the album. I kinda hated the sounds until I recognised them and their purpose, it was very strange!

Thank you for your great videos. The flute was forced on me when I was very young and I was classically trained since the age of four to the age of fourteen. I didn't hate it but my parents moved to a country were flute techs were not available and I still used the children's curved head joint (like for the alto but for kids), aside from the seals being all shot, so at the end, I gave up. Thank you so much! Kiitos!

Just like with guitars, narrow diameter necks with strings closer together or wider necks with strings further apart and overall different sizes as far as length, all the custom fit larger or smaller people. Never thought about bleach but you have to be ergonomically comfortable to just let loose and play them are you are always in a slight bind and that does not make you play music better.

That's a weird song. And they could have done so much more with all the flutes than just repeating the same 4 notes. Nice reaction though :)
