Fluval evo 13.5 algae reactor

the metal clamps are called worm drivers! lol. I only know because always thought it was such a weird name for them and it stuck in my head. Thanks so much for this video! I'm still dealing with nitrates around 15 ish at peak. i still have a good bit of ulva in my middle chamber with ym AI Fuge Blade. I've pushed the spectrum to max on the red and lowered the other 3 spectrums to try seeing if it will uptake faster. time between ym last two WC's was 5 days, and nitrate only increaded by 4.6ppm in that time. it still went up, but not nearly as high or fast as beforte the Ulva. If the chamber fuge doesn't work out i'll try making a reacotr. i just worry about space for it but i can probaly attach it inside the cabinet someplace.

Honestly, I think your little fuge will work wonders. I would do a full spectrum. Run its opposite your daily light schedule. Let it do its thing.

Hey great video your tank is looking great this might be a good move for my Evo reef I’ve been having serious algae issues for a few months now I’ve done reef flux and bacteria with water changes after the treatment but it just gets worse day by day

Algae reactor will do the job. Especially setting it opposite schedule 12 hr. Continue same watch change maintenance. Let the algae grow just out side the tank.

Are you doing WC weekly? Any dosing? Growing sticks in a 13 gallon is impressive

I do a weekly water change of 2 gallons. I also run kalk in my ato. Other than that i only hand dose acro power daily. Thank you also. I appreciate that!

Very impressed with your tank. Ive got a 17gallon tank ive had for 4yrs. Its good 2 c another nano tank thats thriving! Wots the yellow n blue speckled zoa at the front of the tank?

Thank you Richard! I really want it to fill right in! It's doing well so far. The zoas are scrambled eggs. They grow fast for me.

The light is a nicrew hyperreef 50w. It's on 12 hrs total
