"Great British beef" best quote ever 🤣 Great video bro! This is a very detailed, in-depth review. I think you hit all the nails on the head in this video! I am glad that there is more competition in the market, that is mega important! I'm glad the company has been super chill with you so far. Gets my hopes up for their future customer service. All in all, amazing review! I think this board will be a great UK option to compete with Kaly and La Croix! Smart moves on their part 💯 Excited to see how they will improve on the things you've addressed here! Oh! And I'm pumped for the range test video! 😉

Review was a joy to watch! I really do hope they sort out the few issues you mentioned, because otherwise this seems like a board for DIYers, but without the parts DIYers would prefer, like 30Qs, heat-sinks, etc. On the other hand, quite tempted to pick one up as a spare board for those days when all the DIY ones have fallen apart XD

Solid review bro, covered all aspects. Seems like a solid board, shame the clearance is a tad on the low side. whether slotting in some risers would make a difference, but that could also affect the ride itself I guess. For the price tho, its something that can be overlooked and def worth a shout considering the amount of cells you get packed into the board, not to mention the nice touch of different including the different shocks for the rider to customize. Thumbs up on this vid bro.
@LeeWright4 жыл бұрын
Thanks bro! It is a tad on the low side but that's what you get when you put so many cells underneath! Like you say a little riser each side could go a long way to sorting that out. Glad you enjoyed it!

Looks like a solid investment. I think I built my board after all said and done for right around $2,000, so this would be fairly comparable, minus the under board battery. My battery set up allows a top speed with my motors of 35MPH, and I’ve never come close, almost wish I went for another p group or so to extend the 24 mile range. Either way great review!

nice board, but customs where it's at. I was going to go for MBS trucks but the symbolism on their gear is a bit out there for me, that and Jens of E TOXX recommended Trampas over the MBS ones. Due to the MBS tending to break baseplates a lot.

Great start in your review career ;) I would love more info tho; Which firmware is the focbox running? How about aftermarket support on it? Which settings are the focbox running? And in which app? Have they replaced wires/solders on the focbox? We all know that history... 😭 Which motors are they using? Specs and thoughts on the choice? Why 35E, and not 30Q, Vtc6 or make room for 2070/2170 cells? (length is an issue, not width). Are the 80 amps enough? Disclaimer; I have bought the deck, trucks and battery enclosure for my DIY-build. Quality is on gd point.
@LeeWright4 жыл бұрын
Joel Christensen I could have talked about the motors yes, but I’m not sure I should be talking about the VESC wiring and why they didn’t choose certain cells - not really my place to speak for a manufacturer like that. This review was aimed more for someone that isn’t into DIY
@Daneisdumb4 жыл бұрын
@@LeeWright Fair point. Mentioning motor size and specs wouldn't be a problem though, do you think? 🤔 Also, if you're not a DIY looking for a good review, we should mention the focbox-situation, no? Important to know you might not have any support other than from Flux, and I'm unsure if they can actually support the Unity.. Anyway, I digress. You did a bang up job here,.... beefcake 😂

Hey Lee! I'm looking for some guidance and seeking some help out for a build that I've been wanting to make, I'm trying to build a beefed up Esk8 board because I'm unsatisfied with the power of my Evolve GTR. I've been looking at may-techs motors and Vesc's and I would like to know what I should be looking out for specs and performance wise how to compare motors and compatibility also how to tell if a motor is compatible with a Vesc. To give you an idea what I'm looking for I'm goin for a more aggressive style of mountain board with monster torque and speed with an open belt driven drivetrain as cheap but as solid as a rock as possible I have a 3d printer at my disposal that can be of use for internal and external components if you think it would be helpful say for like securing the batteries. But anyways I like this board you are reviewing I've decided I'm going to purchase the board kit for DIY by flux motion, and build up from there. I'm very enthusiastic about this kind of lifestyle and trying to get more involved. your videos definitely are sparking more inspiration. love your videos I hope you keep working on this for as long as you can, id very much appreciate help if you can offer it. Thank you very much Mate.
