Suggestion: you could make a series of videos where you analyze viewer submitted web designs (preferably from people that are still early in their design journey) and point out how these could be improved. I am a programmer myself and try to get into UI / UX design because I want to work on my own commercial software. While there are a lot of online learning resources available, I struggle to receive feedback from professionals for my designs. I just don't know any professional designers at the moment since my background is mainly in IT. Also, most of the examples I see on the web (e.g. on dribble) are way above my own level and it is difficult to learn from the feedback that those designers receive on these platforms.

CodingPhase, DesignCourse and RealToughCandy do this. You can submit your website/design to them and they will critique them in a video. I don't know the frequency that each does it though.

• As I amateur advertiser, I can suggest WASK. In my opinion, the designer is the best part of it. I can design my ad images and use them for my Facebook ads. Honestly, it is not the best design platform but I like to not pay for creating ad images. I can both design and publish from one single channel.

More often now products are built using Maya or Blender. In that way, they can be positioned an endless amount of times with an endless number of backgrounds and lighting (HDRs etc.) Building a 3D model is time consuming, but once its done, you're even able to allow clients to view the product in their home, etc. Its extremely powerful.

Great video, really enjoy your course! One small mistake: Bitmap is not the same thing as Raster Image. A bitmap is basically a raster image that has only 1 color instead of greyscale. :)

Maybe it's just me but the title was kinda misleading. I thought you were selling your webdesign course and didnt know it was a free course over here on youtube. It was difficult to notice that it was a series with multiple episodes and the 'episode' part usually gets hidden by '...' since title is so long. Perhaps a title like.. 'Web Design: The Essentials | Episode 2' Straight to the point. I almost missed the episodes before I noticed the time frame. Love the awesome content!

nobody does hand lettering anymore people just use fonts and manipulate them, also if you want to learn hand lettering it'll only take you 2 weeks of total focus and following a course. it doesn't take that long to become so good at it to impress the layman

Could you do a video explaining the difference between a web designer and a web developer, and what skill sets are needed for both. I don’t know if now they have been meshed together like if your a designer you have skills as a developer as well. I always thought web developer was a high end programmer knowing back end development like php and other back end programs, but don’t know if HTML and CSS fall under that now. Most jobs I have been searching look for a web designer with programming including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP. I’ve been using udemy tutorials but still a little confused with the difference between designer and developer. It be nice to see a video that could clarify this. I enjoy all your videos thanks.

Try Affinity Photo /Designer, way way cheaper 25€ atm not so complicated in lot of things much better then Adobe and best: You own the program I love it and changed form PS/AI. And the better curve handling. No paht thingies no one really need.
