You guys keep talking about the absence of a flipping bite, did any of the guys try flipping and pitching with a smaller weight like a 1/8 ounce slip sinker? It's been my experience in cold water and similar conditions as these that a slower fall will often get the bites that you aren't getting with heavier jigs and heavier slip sinkers. it takes a lot of patience to fish the lighter weights, but sometimes that's the only way to get bit.

I've had times when I've gone as small as a 1/16th.
