It is quite astounding flying from the West to the East takes less time than the opposite direction. When I took AF in Economy class from NY to Paris, we only got 6 hours compared to 7h30 (from Paris to NY). It is much harder to get over the jet lag for some travelers when you arrive in France, in the UK...

I usually fly in business and when I am REALLY lucky in first. It was way better before Covid. Air France has a good service when you travel to Asia but I still prefer Qatar. Good option for America and can save you if you fly to Africa!

1) I still don't understand why people bring so much crap onboard the aircraft. So much that a seat that is intended to be spacious, looks like a hoarders 'room'. 2) Why so people expect an airplane bathroom to be more than a 'functional' space to do one's business....and get out. (The only thing I expect it to be is clean.)
