Fly fishing for big tigers and cutts during an INSANE! damsel hatch

This a is a video of two trips to the same location going after big tigers and cutts during a mega damsel hatch. I had intended to go backpacking both weekends, but the weather was not looking good for that, I ended up taking my float tube to a favorite lake and had so much fun That I went back the following week. Thanks for tagging along on adventure time--lets go!

Sorry to hear about you friend. I've been there, I know its rough. I think I was at this lake too early. 4th July. I didn't catch many but the few I did catch where tanks. My biggest Tiger to date. (23")

This is a late post. I was there mid July. The number of damsels was crazy. My friend Dan was great guy. He left behind a wife and three sons two of which were both injured in the crash as well but fortunately survived----stupid drunk driver

First and foremost, I'm sorry about your friend. That's terrible. Secondly, those fish were healthy! All the tigers were bug and fat.

Sorry about your friend. My wife was hit by a drunk a year ago and it’s been a long road since. Those tigers fought harder than rainbows. I’m going to drag you out on the ice this winter. I have a pole with an inline reel that looks like a small fly pole so you’ll be ok.

Sorry to hear that about your wife---drunk drivers suck. Don't tell anybody, but I have a couple ice fishing rods with regular spin reels on them 😁

It's a fun place. Tigers typically put in the fight, especially the bigger ones. Thanks for the condolences about my friend. His name is Dan Fackrell and he was a good dude for sure.
