30 yrs or more since I was a bailiff/ranger there. Used to enjoy stocking the fish and it’s where I learned to fly fish . I now help run our local water Errwood Fly Fishing Club - thanks for the up load and bringing back some memories

I cut my fly fishing teeth on there in the 80's when the centre was a porta cabin on the shore. Had some good days on there with my Dad including seeing some spectacular flying by various RAF/USAF aircraft inc a cracking encounter with a Hercules flying down the lae, hopping up over the dam and disappearing down the valley. Thanks for the memories.

That’s great David. Seen a few there myself ! I fish Ladybower in Derbyshire too and there quite a few go over there as well !

Nice video Dean. You picked a good day weather wise. The usual rule at Brenig is keep moving until you find the fish....you seemed to do it in reverse.😂 Fairplay though, its nice to fish the various spots around the bays.

Thanks John. It actually went quite quiet down by the dam, hence the reason I moved !!

Thanks for the comment ! I probably go 5-6 times a year. Definitely worth a visit and a great place to take your son. You can bank fish or get a boat. I used to go with my son too 👍
