Cool video, I have the exact same set up as you and I replaced my fly line with a Rio gold, turns that rod into a beast. Cheers mate!

Great video, man! I’m glad that you caught some, last time I took a trip to the Kern I skunked, but that was below Fairview Dam. Looking forward to more videos!

Awesome! A good way to break a rod is to use left hand on the rod. Keep hands on the cork.
@Eric_Risen6 күн бұрын
Have you really broken a rod between the cork and the first guide? Must be doing something seriously wrong. Totally fine to apply a little extra pressure like that

Great video, those are my go to spots at Upper Kern above the bridge. Do you use 9' 5wt rod as Euro nymphing rod? Impressive.
@zachangler699419 күн бұрын
Thanks for tuning in! Yes I do indeed use a 9’ 5wt for EuroNymphing, new setup soon!

How do you keep your line from falling back through the eyelets on the rod? I’m new to fly fishing and every time my line slides back through the eyes and piles up in front of me unless I have a bunch of line out.
@zachangler699411 күн бұрын
I am usually using a technique called euronymphing and I use a long mono leader to tight line nymphs. I will be doing a how to video on this technique soon! Thanks for watching. And hope you enjoy fly fishing as much as I do!

The dubbed music is too loud. Tuned you out after 65 seconds. Sorry
