I do miss that Maine coast. That's why they call it fishing and not catching. I really appreciate the transparency. Great video!

Solid start to the website. I may hit you up for a guided trip on GLS or Magalloway watershed in 2022.
@MainelyOutDoors3 жыл бұрын
Thanks I think it went quite well! I'll be sure to post more information about the guiding as I start to figure out how that will work. I'll be taking the test some time this winter.

Also, I'll be doing another Q&A soon. It's been quite a while since the last one, so if you drop a comment I'll add it to the list! Hope you enjoyed the video! Check out the new website here ----> www.mainely-outdoors.com/

@@kevinsmith9203😂 it was helps with the bugs! I try not to include stff like that on the channel in case I leave an impression on any kids. But I definitely do enjoy a good cigar and whiskey every now and then after a day on the river.

I will stick to the sandy beaches of Rhode Island.
@MainelyOutDoors3 жыл бұрын
Probably a bit easier to fish and more species to target too. Don't see too many stripers or blue fish up my way anymore unfortunately

@@MainelyOutDoors I'm heading up your way in 2 weeks to do some trout fishing.

its beautiful but looks kinda risky
@MainelyOutDoors3 жыл бұрын
It defiantly is! I'm pretty cautious when I'm out there. There are some strong currents that go by that cliff
@FlyTyer19483 жыл бұрын
Per Lefty Kreh: “If it ain’t chartreuse, it ain’t no use.” Do you ever get stripers on the island? That looks like a great place if you have a spot on the ledges with a lot of white water outflow after each wave. A Lefty’s Deceiver or light weight Clouser in chartreuse over white slacklined into the outgoing wash should work. Have you had a chance to get up to the West Branch yet? ;-) Stay safe

😂 I think I can make that happen. I had a friend in college who concocted a recipe for them. Let'ss just say it involves a fine strainer...

Interesting, Never fished for them in October actually. I'm always focused on brook trout and grouse then. Thanks for the tip!
